“Striking and important.”
 Nearfield Magazine

Jamie Bellinger is a British self-taught documentary photographer whose work examines protest, activism, and the ever-changing relationship between collective action and society. In contrast to press photography or photojournalism, he develops long-term thematic projects that focus on people, narrative and historical context within movements.

He is best known for documenting UK climate activism including the Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil campaigns, far-right nationalism, and the movement for peace in Gaza.

Bellinger was named Documentary Photographer of the Year at the British Photography Awards in 2023 and 2025.
