I’m Jamie Bellinger, an independent documentary photographer based in south-west England. My work focuses on protest, activism and social justice issues.

With no education or training in photography, I’ve been self-taught — and inspired by others — since picking up a camera in around 2011 to document far right ‘EDL’ protests in Cambridge. Since then, my work has dealt extensively with climate protest, anti war demonstrations, Black Lives Matter and anti racism.

In 2023, I was awarded the British Photography Award for Documentary Photography at the Dorchester in London, for a picture of a Just Stop Oil protest.
