INTO DRAX
On 30 April 2026, energy company Drax was holding its Annual General Meeting at 200 Aldersgate in the City of London. As attendees arrived for the meeting, under the close watch of police officers, a group of activists was approaching the company’s offices just around the corner on Noble Street.
The group of around twenty activists with campaign group ‘Axe Drax’ rushed into the building, hopped over security barriers and were up the stairs before security guards could stop them.
They occupied the lobby of the Drax offices, unfurling banners and chanting loudly.
One by one, security dragged or carried them back out onto the street.
